Hotel Chocolat in St. Lucia | Travel to St. Lucia

I just found that two of my favorite things have now joined forces. Can you guess what they are? Well I will tell you: Chocolate and St. Lucia! Yay!!! In case you are wondering how this came to be then read on. The Hotel Chocolat in St. Lucia (my mouth is watering already!) is opening on February 28th 2011 at the Rabot Estate.  When I first found out about this I thought, is this real? Have all of my dreams come true? Well apparently they have!

The Hotel Chocolat in St. Lucia is located on the Rabot Estate which is a 140 acre cocoa plantation that sits in the shadow of the Pitons. The hotel offers luxury accommodations with views of the Pitons. The furnishings and décor will not fail to impress. Or so says their website.

There are two types of rooms:

The Cocoa Cottages: Offers 450 square feet, Queen sized bed, granite bathrooms and open sky rain shower (with privacy ensured of course).

The Villas: Offers dramatic views of the Piton mountains and the Caribbean Sea, 750 square feet, King sized bed, suite lounge, loft bedroom, open veranda with mountain views, granite bathroom and open sky forest shower (with privacy ensured of course)

Wow, this place sounds swanky!

At the Hotel Chocolat spa CocoaJuvenate, guests can get massages with cacao nibs and cacao oil. Guests are able to take guided tours of the Rabot Estate, explore the cocoa groves and experience Cacao Cuisine at Boucan the hotel’s restaurant.

I will be traveling to St. Lucia for the Jazz Festival and I am definitely going to visit this hotel. Stay tuned and I will report back with a review of this yummy sounding hotel.

P.S. If you have visited or stayed at The Hotel Chocolat please leave a comment below and let me know about your experience!
