See the St. Lucia Parrot when you Travel to St. Lucia!

If you are going to visit St. Lucia a wonderful thing to explore is the St. Lucia parrot. The St. Lucia parrot (Amazona versicolor) or, Jacquot, as it’s called locally, makes its home in the canopies of the St. Lucia rain forest. This parrot is the national bird of St. Lucia and another wonderful St. Lucia attraction that you should explore when you visit St. Lucia. The species is found only on the island of St. Lucia and because of its colorful feathers it is certainly the most striking parrot of its kind. To find out all about the St. Lucia parrot and where you can see this bird in paradise go to the main site: Travel to St. Lucia

Great for reading on the beach!
